November and December 2014

Once again our thanks go to St. Paul’s church in East Ham for their continued support to Cecilia’s Children, pledging 50% of donations from the quiz night to Cecilia’s Children. Another successful night of fun, laughter and donations, the quiz received a great turnout and another £625 made for Cecilia’s Children.

Over £200 has been made selling handmade Christmas decorations on behalf of Cecilia’s Children this year by a small army of sewing bees; from angels and reindeer to Christmas trees and gingerbread men. We have now launched this range on etsy where 50% of profits from each sale will go directly towards ongoing construction of the centre find them in the shop called ‘GeorgesCorner’!

A small fundraiser was held by one of our volunteers in Canterbury as a Christmas bakes and makes evening, with mulled wine, mince pies and lots of Christmas cheer. Thank you to everyone who took part all donations have made a big difference to Cecilia’s children and for all the Christmas gift donations still coming in. From everyone here at Cecilia’s Children we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
